He and my brother were best friends. I use to let them tag along with me...because I could drive...to Great America, skating, and so much more. I just found out today and I am so sad! My whole family is saddened by this. After college I moved to Decatur, IL as a reporter and went to work at a tv station - WAND...several years later I was watching the news and John was reporting at the same station. We kept in touch for a very long time. I will miss him stopping his car in front of my parents house when he would see us outside and just stopping by to tell my parents hi. He was a really good guy. I have so many fond memories. I have known John since he was a very small boy. He and my brother were best friends.
