Atlanta’s CBS affiliate WGCL invited about 25 Atlanta bloggers to learn more about a new initiative called Blog Stew.

It’s an attempt to integrate community/blogger content on the station’s website, and on-air. It’s also a citizen journalism initiative. The station has purchased about two dozen HD Flip cameras and will loan them to community members interested in sharing content.

As part of the deal, the video must not be posted anywhere else, and there’s no compensation. The good ole days are gone. I wish HDNews was still around.
