KEEPING OUR TWINS MEMORY ALIVE – SUPPORT THE MARCH OF DIMES

by A.man.I

It’s hard to believe that on April 19, it will be three years since our firstborn twins were born and passed. This year I’m stepping up my efforts raise funds for the March of Dimes. So far we’ve raised $550.00 dollars on behalf of Rico and Jordan, but we’d like to raise $5,000.00. Is that too ambitious?

My wife and I will always support the March of Dimes, and we’re asking that you do the same. This year MyUrbanReport/ VisualEyeMedia received a sponsorship from Atlanta Daybook to help publicize our effort. I’ll also be Twittering, and I’ll reach out to my Facebook friends, and the greater digital community for support.

Please donate here, or you can click on the link on the sidebar. On behalf of my family, and my boys, thank you.

This is an opportunity for you to contribute to a good cause. Life is precious, and delicate. If you don’t understand, then watch our story.

Very moving video. It was almost like a scary movie… There are such moments of happiness but you know something bad is coming. Best wishes on reaching your fundraising goal. I just pitched in $25.

I aboslutely adore the two of you and wanted to say congrats to you on the arrival of Devin. He is beautiful. We had a similar story in our family last year and now my niece is in the process of adopting. Thank you for sharing your story. I know that Rico and Jordan are in heaven with our Kennedy. And I know that they are very proud of baby brother Devin.

All my best wishes to you and your wife and son.. I lost my son Joshua at 20 weeks as well, it all started on Good Friday, and he was born the Tuesday after Easter. He was with us for one fleeting hour… so I understand completely what you both have gone through.
I’m glad you were able to try again and are blessed with your son. I already had a little girl, and while we tried very hard for another child, I guess that it wasn’t meant to be. I miss my son dearly, will think of him every day of my life, but after 5 years I’ve forced myself to move on, and do my best to make sure my daughter gets to experience everything good that this life has to offer.
I commend you and your wife for the courage to take your personal tragedy and share it with us on videotape in order to help the March of Dimes. May your efforts help to ensure that someday, no one else will have to experience a loss such as ours, everyone please donate what you can…

    Sincerely,
    Jeanne Kramer

One last note…. I would have throttled my husband if he followed me around as much as you did while I was with child! You realize she’s a saint, don’t you? :D
