THE MAINSTREAM TEACHING THE GRASSROOTS

The Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists is reaching out to non-profit groups to help them learn how get their stories through the news gatekeepers. The event is called, “Growing the Grass Roots: Relaying Your Message in the Changing Media.”

The luncheon speakers are Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Press Secretary Doug Oliver. They will provide insight into how a political campaign disseminates its message and effective strategies that grassroots organizations can use to get their story told.

This event is free to Philadelphia area non-profits and grassroots organizations, and the best part, lunch will be provided.
