YOU SAY THERE’S NO WAY OBAMA CAN DO IT

MICHELLE OBAMA SAYS NEW HAMPSHIRE VOTERS ARE ENERGIZED
My Urban Report received an e-mail from Michelle Obama about the New Hampshire primary:

The lines have been out the door and around the block. Undecided voters are coming out of our events decided.
I’ve been in New Hampshire a few days, and the crowds and energy have been incredible. You can feel it in our campaign offices and at rallies all across the state — this is something more than a typical political campaign.
Today is Primary Day, and our momentum has hit New Hampshire. Thousands of people are realizing that fundamental change is within reach. The improbable is now possible.

OBAMA CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISER
Speaking of Michelle Obama, it looks like she‘ll may be in Atlanta this Sunday for a fundraiser. My Urban Report received a brief e-mail that didn’t include any specifics about the event.

We have scheduled a fundraising afternoon reception this Sunday, January 13 with Michelle Obama and I hope that you will all be able to be a part of this effort!

If I find out more, I’ll pass it along.

DONT HATE
CNN contributor Roland Martin sounds off to all of the naysayers who are hating on Senator Barack Obama.

Obama is the first candidate of his generation truly to be an agent of change who inspires, motivates and ignites the passion in a large segment of Americans who had ignored politics because it was unseemly and didn’t move people to action.

Obama is doing a great job of driving home the point that what he symbolizes, and represents is change. Apparently voters believe it’s needed. A Black man in the White House!!? That alone represents tremendous change in these United States.

I think Barak Obama winning Iowa will be what gives hime the boost to take the Democrat nominee. However, we cannot count Hillary Clinton out of this at all.
