ATLANTANS PARTY FOR OBAMA

by A.man.I

As Senator Barack Obama looks to take the New Hampshire primary, over the weekend supporters in Atlanta hosted small rallies to share Obama’s message with their closest friends and associates.

John and Elise Just-Buddy welcomed about fifty people into their home for a Barack Obama “house party.” The event was designed to give people more than the 15-second sound bites that are often heard on the news.

Just-Buddy showed visitors a video to educate potential supporters about Obama’s platform, and also took donations from folks interested in supporting Obama.

The event was an example of the grassroots campaigning, and the enthusiasm that is building around Obama.

Some folks just wanted to learn more, while some were still undecided, and others said Obama is their man.

Michelle Ashley spoke to My Urban Report about her decision to support Obama.
