NOTES FROM NABJ LAS VEGAS
The 2007 National Association of Black Journalists Convention and Job Fair is underway.
Today the NABJ awarded BET the “Thumbs Down Award” for its programming.
CNN received the “Best Practices Award” for its coverage of community issues.
NABJ honored slain editor Chauncey Bailey.
Hillary Clinton spoke at the opening plenary.
The job fair is busy, there’s plenty of networking, mentoring, and socializing.
